Overview

This walk is a coach trip embarking at 8am from Elgin Community Centre, Lossie Green Car Park, Elgin (Pick-up via Keith).

Country roads & tracks, a moorland ridge and woodland paths leading to the summit of Pressendye & offering great views. Total ascent 556m.

There will also be a short 7 mile walk which take in the impressive Tomnaverie Stone Circle.

Please Note: The ‘Estimated Finish Time’ shown below is when the walk is due to end, however the walk start time can vary due to road conditions on the day. On our return journey to Elgin, the coach has a stop-off for ‘refreshments’ therefore we cannot give a fix time for our return to Elgin.

Each [Saturday or Sunday] coach journey will be £15 per head.

If you are no longer able to attend, please remember to contact the bookings.mrg@gmail.com. If you have registered to attend one of our weekend walks but fail to attend a charge of £10 will be levied.

Good walking boots are essential, gaiters, waterproof jacket and trousers and poles are advised.  Bring food and drink.

All walkers must carry some form of ICE (In Case of Emergency) identification. This includes your name, mobile number and next of kin contact name and number.

Toilets: there are no toilets on the route.
