Following the success of their snowdrop teas in February, Rosy and the team at St Mary's Church are inviting us to their first autumn tea afternoon.
This short but hilly walk starts from the parking field behind the church and takes us up through Yoesden Nature Reserve to Bledlow Ridge.
Our next target is Lodge Hill, where we'll take a 10-minute break before returning on a different route to Bledlow Ridge, then finally descending to Radnage where tea and cake will be available at the church.
Suggested donation: £5. Please bring cash in case of problems with the card machine.
There's no parking at the church itself but we can park in a field nearby. Entrance to the field is through a gateway 140m north of the church where Cherry Lane becomes Radnage Lane. The gate won't be opened until 12.30, so don't get there too early, or we'll block the lane queueing to get in.
When we inspected the parking field on Friday, the ground was firm despite recent rain.
If you're late, you can join us around 1pm at Bledlow Ridge when we cross Chinnor Road just south of The Boot pub (HP14 4AW).
