Overview

This is a linear walk following the “Cleveland Way”, which forms part of the longer “King Charles III England Coastal Path”.  Starting from Ravenscar the route passes the old “alum” works, along the coastal cliff tops before descending down to and along the beach from Stoupebrow to Robin Hood’s Bay and then onto Whitby along the cliff tops. The walk finishes at the coach park at the rear of the railway station. The route giving ample opportunity to view the North Sea and some of the bird life using the cliffs for nesting sites.
