Overview

The rendez vous is the Blue Lion Inn Car Park in Cwm.  They are very welcoming of Ramblers at any time, and we're hoping you will make most of their facilities and have lunch/refreshments there on the day.

The walk itself is approx 4 miles, up a gentle incline through a field at the back of the church into woodland (full of bluebells at the appropriate time of year), arriving at a country road.  We are on that road for quite a while, a chance to eat up the miles (don't want to be late for lunch) before we reach a slice of Offa's Dyke with stunning views below.  Following the path through gorse and fields we then descend (poles may be needed) back onto the road, all the way back to the village and our lunch, not without passing their phone booth/library (bring a book to exchange?).
