Moderate to brisk paced 19.9km/12.4 mile walk, with 240m/787.4ft of ascent.
About 4.45 hours actual walking.
Route: Mercers Park Country Park, Spynes Mere Nature Reserve, Mercers Farm, Nutfield Marsh, Brewer Street, Dormers Farm, Bletchingley, Castle Hill, Steners Hill, South Nutfield, King's Mill, Greensand Way, Royal Earlswood Park, Earlswood Common, Redhill Common.
Lunch: Two pubs and a tearoom in Bletchingley for refreshments/loos...but bring food.
Meet at 10.50 at Redhill Station.
Travel: Victoria 10.08/Clapham Junction 10.14/East Croydon 10.26 - Southern Reigate train - arr Redhill 10.47. Or Blackfriars 09.54/Lon Bridge 09.59/East Croydon 10.15 - Thameslink Horsham train - arr Redhill 10.35.
Ticket/Fare: Off‐Peak Day Return to Redhill. Freedom Pass - buy from East Croydon.
Finish: Redhill Station by about 16.20 - 5 trains per hour (light for walking up to 16.45).
