We are the Inverness Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely forest walk by Moniack Burn, passing some of the tallest trees in the UK. There is a picturesque stone bridge at about the halfway point of the walk. Once back at the car park, there is an optional extension depending on daylight!
Forest paths which can get very muddy. There is occasional ascent.
Please sign up by contacting the walk leader by 7pm the day before the walk.
Please wear walking shoes/boots and waterproofs.
The walk is not accessible by public transport. If you need a lift, please let the walk leader know when you sign up. If you can offer lifts, please let the walk leader know.
