Overview

The walk along the tow path beside Regents Canal charts the changes between east and west London and also shows many innovative housing options and different architectural styles. The route starts at Limehouse Basin and passes Mile End Park, Hertford Union Canal, Victoria Park, Hackney, Islington, Camden, Regents Park, Little Venice and Paddington Central.

The meeting point is outside Limehouse station on the Docklands Light Railway. If travelling from Cambridge catch the 8.44 train to Kings Cross at 9.32. Circle line to Tower Hill then walk to Tower Gateway for the DLR to Limehouse. Please contact the Jane C on 07506 846653 if you plan to join this walk.

The end of the walk will be Paddington underground station. For those that do not wish to do the full 10 mile walk there are a couple of break points at Angel tube station around half way or Camden at 7 miles.
