Here is a different walk for you to enjoy! From our start point we will walk over Drysgol Fawr and Parc Drysgol from where we will have magnificent views over the high mountains of northern Eryri. We will continue to the telecommunications mast above Llyn Padarn on interesting paths you probably haven`t walked before to Pen y Bigil. From there we will make our way back to the start point.
The walk will take about 5 hours and is about 8 miles long with 550m of ascent.
Bring food and drink, wear windproof and waterproof clothing and stout footwear. Paths will be narrow, uneven and muddy in places and we can expect windy conditions here in late January.
Responsibly controlled dogs on leads are welcome.
The car parking is free. The 09:00 Sherpa bus from Bangor arrives at Rhiwlas at 09:30
Please note start time of 09:30
