Overview

Rhyd Ddu Llyn Y Gadair Circular C4 by Alison

5 October 2024, 10:30 AM

This short easy walk by Alison follows on from the tradition started by Rachel. We start as if going up Snowdon on the Rhyd Ddu path, a continuous but gentle climb for about 45 minutes - depending on how often we stop to admire the beautiful view of Elephant Mountain (Mynydd Mawr) and the Nantlle Ridge. We then turn right and gently down the fairly new gravelled path that will take us down to the Beddgelert road. Across the road we enter the Beddgelert forest. Here we join the Lon Gwyrfai path and walk beside Llyn Y Gadair back to Rhyd Ddu
