Starting in Wantage, this circular walk passes though the Lockinge villages and then climbs Ardington Down to the Ridgeway. We will walk along this ancient trail for about 4 miles; the route used since prehistoric times by travellers and herdsmen passing through the wide open landscape. Later, Court Hill centre with its tea shop will be an option to stop before we start our descent into Letcombe Regis and finally back to Wantage. Familiar to many of you, I hope nevertheless you will enjoy this 11 mile circuit.
Please bring packed lunch.
Dogs welcome, but on leads please
