Overview

A circular walk from Ripley, leaving on the Nidderdale way and walking to Hampsthwaite, Birstwith, New Bridge and Shaw Mills. the return route is by Hill top and past the deer park.

There are muddy sections on the walk so walking poles may be useful.

Meet at Ripley Cross. Pay and display car park, some roadside parking in the village, or waste land at Birthwaite Lane. Ripley is on the 36 bus route which runs between Leeds, Harrogate and Ripon. Please check bus times to ensure you are in Ripley for 10am - the start of the walk
