Overview

Firm, level paths along the Thames to Greenland Dock, then through Russia Dock Woodlands and King's Stairs Gardens to Southwark Park, where we stop for lunch.  Return past Surrey Quays overground station to rejoin the Thames after South Dock Marina, then retrace our steps to Greenwich with minor deviations.

Train: DLR to Cutty Sark station, Zone 2.  Frequent services.

Lunch at Southwark Park - cafe, toilets, picnic benches.  This is the only public toilet stop en route.

Drop-out point at Surrey Quays for London Overground.

Meet outside the main Cutty Sark DLR station entrance, which is on the pedestrian arcade between Creek Road and Greenwich Church Street. This entrance is closed at the time of writing, awaiting escalator repairs, but the station remains open. One exit is opposite the main entrance; if emerging at one of the other exits, turn right and right again to reach the arcade.
