Starting in the charming town of Pitlochry, this extended circular walk showcases the beauty of the River Tummel and its surrounding landscapes. Crossing the pedestrian suspension bridge at Port-Na-Craig, the route leads you along tranquil riverside paths past the Clunie Dam and fish ladder. The trail continues through peaceful woodlands, offering chances to encounter red squirrels and a variety of birdlife. Gentle inclines provide stunning views of Loch Tummel and the surrounding hills before the path loops back towards Pitlochry via the historic Pitlochry Bridge.
Meet in front of ticket office in Glasgow Queen Street station. Please purchase a returns ticket to Pitlochry in advance.
