We are the Congleton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Circular Walk : Walk pace approx 2.5 mph. 11.30/11.45am finish (easy walking). Trent and Mersey Canal towpath from Broughton Arms towards Hassall Green. Footpaths across fields to Salt Line. Salt Line to Alsager. Lanes and track back to Rode Heath Rise and the canal. There will not be a rest/drinks break during the walk - there is the Broughton Arms Public House at the end of the walk if desired afterwards for tea, coffee, brew etc. 197ft ascent(Contact the leader to request a place. It is possible that you will be turned away if you arrive at the starting point without a confirmed place on the walk.
