Overview

From the carpark, walking through the village to the Battle of Roslin memorial and then taking the core path up past Dryden Tower to Bilston. Giving clear views of the Pentland Hills. Follow the Bilston Burn and then crossing the impressive Bilston Viaduct before returning via paths along the River North Esk. Taking in views of Hawthornden Castle & Wallace's Cave on the opposite bank.
