Overview

We follow the old railway track north to join the Staffordshire Way alongside the River Dane before ascending through Raven's Clough to the lane up to Woodhouse Green. We then take mainly field paths across to the isolated St Lawrence's Church before dropping back down to the railway track to return to The Knot.
