Overview

Heading for the hills from Ryarsh, we pass a Neolithic Long Barrow as we pick up the Wealdway. We wend our way through woods and open country, enjoying the fresh spring colour and flowers, including violets, primroses and early purple orchids. Swooping vineyard paths lead to our picnic lunch at Luddesdown. Meandering back down, the North Downs Way brings us out above Birling and we descend to Ryarsh. Panoramic views reward the climbs.
