We are the Milton Keynes and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Wonderful forest walk, starting from the picturesque village of Stoke Goldington: we start along the high street to Dag Lane. We then walk past Stokepark Wood and join Midshires Way past a large solar power field. We then walk north into the ancient woodland of Stacey Forest.
We will stop for lunch and a toilet break at the Cafe and car park area of the forest. We then return via the eastern end of the forest and farm field paths to the church as Stoke Goldington; and then back to High Street,
There are some stiles on this route and some streams to cross. Much of it is along bridleways currently churned up by the horses, so come prepared for mud!
