Overview

From the station we will walk through the town to Saltburn woods  .We will enter the woods, drop down into the valley and head towards Cat Nab car park.  From the car park we will walk to Saltburn Gill, through the Gill then up to New Brotton.  We will cross Saltburn Road cut through the   housing estate then follow the road and track passing Hunley Hall Golf Club.  Our walk will continue towards the coast, through fields, over the railway and onto the Cleveland Way.  We will then continue along the Cleveland Way and return to Saltburn Station.

There is some moderate climbing, some stiles and a railway crossing.  Some muddy sections on paths and a section of steep steps in Saltburn Gill.

There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
