Overview

This circular walk starts by heading north, following the edge of the western side of Heartswood Forest to Nomansland Common. From here we pass the Wicked Lady Pub named after a famous Lady Highwayman. Passing the pub we head to Beech Hyde Farm and then on to Coleman Green passing the ruins of a house used by the famous preacher John Bunyan. From Coleman Green we set off towards Cromer Hyde and then onto Symondshyde Great Wood. On exiting the woods we join the Hertfordshire Way which takes us all the way back to Sandridge via the eastern side of Heartswood Forest.
