Overview

We meet on the corner of House Lane in the middle of Sandridge opposite the Green Man pub. We'll head towards the village hall, taking the footpath to Sandridgebury Farm. We then use a stretch of the Hertfordshire Way towards the railway line, taking the path around the boundary of Heartwood past Pudler’s Wood, heading towards Ferrers Lane and Nomansland Common, an area of significant Hertfordshire history. We follow the Woodland Trust paths continuing towards Coleman Green Lane and again towards Hammond’s Farm before again picking up another stretch of the Hertfordshire Way on our way back to Sandridge and refreshments at The Queen’s Head next to the Parish Church.
