A ramble on the North side of Scarborough. Park at the Sea Life Centre CP, which is free during the winter months
A moderate walk because of a steep climb up the Cleveland Way to start. The rest of the walk is definitely leisurely and will be walked at a leisurely pace. The route includes some Cleveland Way, some Tabular Hills Walk, the “cinder track”, the historic Manor Road Cemetery, Peasholm Glen, and Northstead Manor Gardens. We will be back to the start by 12.30, so home for lunch or a perfect place to enjoy your picnic looking across the North Bay to the Castle. Alternatively, you can patronise the Scalby Mills Pub, which offers a wide choice of snacks and meals , not to mention draught beers.
