We are the West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
With Abergavenny looming, I am not expecting much interest; so a very local walk (for me!) to minimise driving. A return to a walk that I led last Christmas Eve. Semington, Hill Farm, Whaddon and the K&A Canal will all feature. Pretty much flat, patches of mud and just the occasional stile. Once again, pleasant if unspectacular, no dramatic highpoints and nothing to set the blood fizzing. But it’s always good to walk and talk and get fresh air and exercise. Bring snack.
