We are the Hampshire 40+ Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A shorter walk than our usual fair, being the day after the night before (Xmas Party) and followed by our AGM (attendance optional, but would be delighted to see you there).
We start from the car park next to Shawford railway station. Please meet 15 minutes ahead of the walk start time. Heading towards Twyford, briefly on the Monarch's Way before heading north to join the Pilgrims Trail. We then pick up the path on the edge of Hockley Golf Club to join the Itchen Navigation tow path back to Shawford.
Dogs welcome with well behaved owners. Lead essential until we're well out of Twyford and for crossing a couple of roads.
Bring a packed lunch.
The railway station car park was free the last time I used it. If full, there is a small car park just up the road and park considerately around the village.
