We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easy leisurely circular walk from the English Bridge along the riverside Castle walk, over Castlefield Bridge. Then along the old canal path, past the Maltings, meandering along footpaths to the Beaver Boardwalk 920 yards long spanning the old river wetland to Hencote. Returning back partly along the road, then pathways and alleyways through estate, eventually dropping down to the riverside and finally crossing the bridge to the start point.
Stopping for drinks and snacks as appropriate. A picnic lunch could be taken in the gardens at the end of the walk, if the weather permits.
