We are the Chiltern Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Join the Chiltern Young Walkers for a wander through Aylesbury, Wendover Woods and Aston Clinton.
This walk is relatively flat but with one reasonable hill. The walk will likely be slightly faster paced, but do not let that put you off and please drop me a message should you have any concerns or queries before joining.
The walk begins and ends in Aylesbury town centre by the train station. The walk takes us down through farmland and along the river into Wendover before heading on to Wendover Woods where we’ll stop at the cafe for lunch and to enjoy the view. We’ll then head up to Aston Clinton before making our way back to Aylesbury along the Grand Union Canal.
The walk will be round off at a pub in Aylesbury for anyone interested.
Appropriate hiking footwear is recommended. As are waterproofs, incase the need arise, and appropriate trousers (e.g. not jeans).
Dogs are welcome, however we ask owners to make sure they are kept on their leads at all times and are well behaved.
Please bring plenty of food and water for the walk as there will be limited opportunities to purchase anything until returning to Wendover at the end of the walk though.
