Starting from Presteigne allotments we will head for the Motte and Bailey and then make our way up, via tracks, farm roads and footpaths, to join Offa's Dyke, where, weather permitting, we can enjoy magnificent views. After lunch, we will drop down into the tranquil Lugg Valley crossing over the B4356 at Dolly Green. Our return will be along farm paths and beautiful wooded tracks.
Paths will be muddy in places. Expect a few stiles and a short section on a busy road.
If you would like to join this walk, please book a place with the leader. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. If you turn up without booking, we may have to turn you away.

The walk starts at the allotments in Presteigne. OS Map Exp 201. There is a small car park there, and further parking is available about 100 yards down the road by the Scout hut.
