After climbing the first gate, we will be following a scenic track which takes us up to Crystal Rig Windfarm which we will walk through before joining the Herring Road and then ascending Spartleton, where we will have lunch. We descend along Elsie Cleugh Trig and follow Bothwell Water back to the car.
