Overview

We head initially towards Whalley before picking up the River Calder briefly. Then a steep ascent through the woods to Whalley Nab, heading off to Dean Clough reservoir for a lunch stop. Back via moors and lanes to Billington and Whalley, admiring the impressive viaduct and abbey along the way.
