Overview

From the car park walk south east along the Hawnby Road for 0.8 mile then join a moorland track heading north across Osmotherley Moor. Continue north past Swainby Shooting House then north west along Stoney Ridge.  Walk south west on Whorlton Moor to join Red Way heading south and south west to Sheepwash. Now continue south along High Lane to Chequers and from there along the roiadf back to the cart park.
