Overview

A pleasant circular walk exploring the Gorhambury Estate using some permissive paths. The walk starts from St Albans City station and continues along St Alban’s way then joining the River Ver trail through the Verulamium Park along the Hertfordshire way. The walk then continues along a permissive path to Gorhambury House before reaching the ruins of Old Gorhambury House where we will stop for a picnic lunch. After lunch, the walk continues to Potters Crouch and back into St. Albans past the Cathedral, finishing at St Alban’s City station. Please bring picnic lunch.
