In the morning we walk through the forest down to the Waterfall (There are some steps down to the Waterfall, these could be slippery - if you are unsure you can wait at the top) Then its on to the Clydach reservoir (sadly empty) where we stop for coffee. Then we walk through the forest with its mix of Deciduous and Evergreen trees and abundant bird life. The forest tracks take us back to the car park (our starting point) for our lunch stop. After lunch there is a short climb on to the forest path, through the stand of 70 year old beech trees, then the views open out as we walk around the forest, just as we exit the forest we get great views south. On a clear day we will be able to see the Bristol Channel with Flat Holm, Steep Holm and possibly Weston. Then it’s a gradual downhill walk through several fields to the track that takes us back to the car park.
