This scenic walk blends nature, historic villages, and the mesmerizing spectacle of a starling murmuration. The walk starts at St Ives Park & Ride, continues through the historic village of St Ives, across the St Ives Bridge with its Chapel, and on to Fenstanton where we will stop at the church where Capability Brown is buried. We will leave Fenstanton and head toward the nearby Drayton Lakes which is renowned for its wetlands, offering superb opportunities for birdwatching.
During late afternoon we will hope to witness a starling murmuration, as thousands of starlings perform their aerial ballet over the water.
We will conclude our walk back at the Park & Ride site for those returning or continue to the restaurant for those attending the post Christmas meal.
