We are the White Cliffs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Boxing Day Walk
NB 10:15 start time
Meet in the village car park behind the church off the High Street/Reach Road.
A circular walk heading via footpaths towards the cliffs passing close to the Dover Patrol Memorial and the old Coastguard Station. Across in the direction of Kingsdown towards Hope Point and then up along the side of Kingsdown golf course with stunning views back across the channel. Then a leisurely walk back towards the village along Kingsdown Road.
One set of steep steps to walk down. Walking boots and walking poles suggested.
We should be back in the village for 12:30.
The Smugglers pub will be open up until 14:00 (bar only) on our return.
Dogs welcome but must remain on lead.
