The Stiperstones ridge is sombre & forbidding-looking, reminiscent of Dartmoor (it says in my book)
We will make our way west and down hill in the morning passing through the small village of Shelve before starting the ascent back to the Stiperstones ridge.
The walk is on forest roads, field paths and farm tracks. Some sections are rough underfoot and some mud may be encountered and there are lovely views over Shropshire & the Welsh Borders.
