Jean is leading an 8 mile circular walk from Blackstone Picnic Site crossing the A456 and walking towards the Devil’s Spittleful. Carrying on along the Burlish Top Nature Reserve and following the Geopark Way along Kingsway. Crossing over the A451 and continuing to follow the geopark Way along the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal (paths anre easily wide enough for two folk to chat) until we reach Stourport and the Basin. Here, we will stop and have lunch overlooking the locks. The Windlass Cafe is here; where you can buy a snack or coffee.
After our lunch stop we will cross over the basin and begin walking along the Severn Way. Lovely wide footpaths along here. Fields to the right. This will take us back to the car park.
