We're continuing this year's series of summer evening walks with a pub visit en-route!
Starting from Church Lane car park in the centre of Chalfont St Peter (free parking after 6), we'll head north-west out of the village and through farmland towards Chalfont St Giles. Note there is a slight hill at the beginning but that gets it out of the way nice and early!
In St Giles we'll stop for a drink at Merlin's Cave pub, which has one of the best pub gardens in The Chilterns, before heading south once more and along The Chiltern Way back to where we started. If we're lucky we'll spot some racehorses in training as the footpath goes right alongside the track.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times and are the responsibility of the owner.
It helps us if you to sign up and tell us you're coming. If you sign up and later find out you cannot attend please change your RSVP on Meetup so we're not waiting for you.
