We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet 10am at Gogmore Farm Park car park, at the end of Curfew Bell Road, Chertsey (nearest postcode KT16 9FG, parking is free on Sundays) for a short circular walk to Thorpe and back.
We walk through Chertsey via Guildford Street and the Abbey remains, past the former Laleham golf course and a caravan park to Thorpe village. We pause there for a DIY drinks stop before walking back past the rear of Thorpe Park. Look out for Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno (intense thrills)! Coffee and cakes are available in Chertsey at the end of the walk.
