We are the Mid Sussex Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk will follow some of the Seven Sister’s and walk towards Cuckmere Haven.
We will stop near the Seven Sisters Country Park for a break before climbing the hill for the classic view of the Cuckmere Valley. We descend the succession of steps to the edge of the village of Westdean then following a relatively level route through Friston Forest to Friston Place. We climb again steadily and join the lane at Old Willingdon, before returning through Hobb’s Eares to the start at East Dean.
This route should provide an opportunity for some views.
This route is a mixture of tracks and lanes and may include some muddy or potentially slippery sections after recent wet weather. Obviously well known path across the Seven Sisters.
