We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A circular walk starting from Telscombe Tye on the coast and walking inland up onto the downs and down to Rodmell for a picnic lunch. After lunch returning via the village of Telscombe back to the start. Optional pub stop after the end at the nearby Smugglers Rest.
Accessible via bus. Catch the #12A or #12 from Brighton station at 09:45 or 10:00.
Plenty of parking at the side of the main road.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. The walk will start at Telscombe Tye (at the peak of the hill) where the footpath starts. The bus stop is close by.
