We are the West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A gentle circuit of Tetbury, passing through Highgrove Estate on the Monarchs Way, on to Beverston Castle, a fortified manor house, and Chavenage Manor, famous for its many television appearances! Then returning to Tetbury via the Macmillan Way along a pretty pastoral valley. A few stiles and a couple of challenging walls to climb! Bring refreshments for two stops and there may be an opportunity for tea and cake at the end if the Goods Shed café is open. A last chance to travel slightly further from home before the clocks change; 30 miles from Trowbridge, just under an hour’s travel time.
