This walk sets off through the village of Southgate leading to the golf course. Walking through the course we arrive at Pennard Castle to take in the scenery.
Leading on from there, we walk through woods where we take coffee by a Neolithic burial chamber and lime kilns.
We climb slowly for 1.5 miles, leading onto common land overlooking the bay. We then descend into the village of Penmaen taking us to the coastal path and on to Three Cliffs beach for lunch.
We will cross a small stream ( hence the need for a small towel ) .
After lunch and dried feet !! we climb slowly up the dunes to walk along the coast back into the village.
P.S. Don't forget your NT Cards and small towel.
Refreshments available by the car park including pub in the village (Gower beer !).
Hope you can join me.
