Overview

From the car park, we follow a rough forest road, parallel to the Loch of the Lowes, to Riskinhope Farm. We then follow the signposted path to Ettrick Kirk, as far as the junction with the Southern Upland Way. We turn to follow the SUW path downwards to Tibbie Shiels and back to the cars.
