Overview

BOOKING REQUESTED

Head north to Wheaton Bank then farm tracks to Manchester Road, crossing A 623 to Tideslow Rake then to Little and Great Hucklow, Grindslow and Wardlow Mires via Silly Dale, crossing the A623 again. On to Cressbrook Dale and Tansley Dale returning south of Litton Village to Tideswell.  Risk assessment: An undulating walk along well defined tracks and some rural roads. No significant hazards. If wet may be muddy in parts. Crossing the A623 heading to the Rake requires attention. Easier to cross at Wardlow Mires. Tansley Dale has a short steepish incline. Livestock may be present.
