Overview

Starting at Tilford, we will cross the River Wey and head to Crooksbury Hill where we will have a view of Waverley Abbey along the way. We will then have a short break and enjoy the view at the top of Crooksbury Hill before we head back to Tilford via Charleshill.

Due to the time of year and depending on recent weather at the time, this walk will be muddy in places. There will be a very small section of road walking, some walking along very quiet lanes and a very noticeable ascent with steps as we ascend to Crooksbury Hill.

At the end of the walk and also depending on space and availability at the pub, there is the option for those interested to have lunch at the Barley Mow in Tilford.
