Walkers must book in advance with the walk leader
A short walk above Helensburgh to 'blow the cobwebs away' after any over indulgence at Christmas
We start off along the John Muir Way but leave it when it drops towards Glen Fruin. We continue upwards across a boggy open hillside before reaching the heather clad summit of Tom na h-Airidh. Our return is along rough paths, forestry tracks and through Duchess Woods to the sea front.
Local Grade: C+
Terrain: Mostly along quiet roads and good paths but some pathless boggy sections. Some sections of path may be uneven and slippery.
Max height: 354 m
