Our group offers walks which are accessible by public transport and take place throughout the South East of England plus a summer holiday and a New Year break
An 8.5 mile circular walk with an optional 3.5 mile extension led by Pauline L (Mobile No: 07976 953555). A stile-free walk through low lying parkland, farm fields and orchards with an opportunity to visit All Saints, Tudeley: a church with twelve stained glass windows designed by the artist Marc Chagall. Lunch stop at ‘The Poacher and Partridge’ pub in the hamlet of Tudeley Hale after 5 miles (or bring a picnic). There are several places in Tonbridge for tea, but participants may prefer to explore the 13th century Tonbridge Castle (free access) or take a loop around Haysden Country Park to the station (an additional 3½ miles for the full circuit).
