We are the Wolverhampton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk that starts in the pretty village of Tong, which has a very impressive church, and in takes in Bishops Wood, the Boscobel Oak and the White Ladies Priory. It is fairly flat with a few stiles.
There will be a short drinks break and a longer lunch break so do bring drinks and a packed lunch.
This is a joint walk with Tamworth and Lichfield Ramblers.
Tamworth & Lichfield have asked us to let them know in advance who from Wolverhampton will be joining them on this walk. Can you please email walkswolvesramblers@gmail.com before 4 February if you are going on the walk.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for weather conditions and the walk you want to do. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt. Non-members of the Ramblers Association are welcome to join us on a couple of walks before deciding whether to join the group.
