Walk description
Leaving Currie Library we make our way to the Water-of-Leith walkway and then climb up the lower part of Poet’s Glen to Blinkbonny. We continue through the hamlet and then footpath onto Woodhall Road. Passing the equestrian centre we climb through grassland up to Torphin Road and then around Torduff Hill to the reservoir. We cross the dam and enter the Bonaly Country Park. After coffee we go through the country park and drop back down to Torduff and then onto Clubbiedean Reservoir. We go round the reservoir through the woods and then onto Easter Kinleith Farm, returning to the library down Poet’s Glen.
There are a couple of short steep ascents and it is likely to be muddy. Gaiters and poles recommended.
