We start by taking a lane to the oddly named hamlet of Beili Glas, then farmland and lanes to reach Llanover Church. Its graveyard contains a fine family plot dedicated to Lady Llanover. We then join the River Usk before passing under two railway bridges and more farmland to the walled estate of Llanover itself. Footpaths lead us past the big house and gardens until we cross the A4042, through the picturesque village of Llanover and on to the canal towpath. Our last stretch crosses more farmland back to our start point.
